Miami beginnings.
In 2018, Chef Carolina Molea founded L’Artisane in Miami with a simple belief: French pastry could be both beautifully crafted and entirely vegan.
Our story began in North Beach. It grew through early mornings, carefully folded dough, and a community that made a small bakery part of its everyday life. Coral Gables became our next home, and nationwide shipping brought a little of L’Artisane to tables far beyond Miami.
This is a place to remember that journey — and the people who made it possible.

From our first croissant

2018
L’Artisane opens in North Beach, bringing Chef Carolina’s French-inspired vegan pastries to Miami.
On April 15, our vegan croissant wins the jury prize at French Morning’s Best Croissant Miami competition.

During the pandemic, online sales and nationwide shipping connect our kitchen with customers across the country.
2021
L’Artisane moves from North Beach to Coral Gables.
2025
Our Coral Gables location closes in September. Our online operation ends on September 30, 2025.
The ovens are off.
